Prosopagnosia
Have you ever heard of the term Prosopagnosia? Just try saying that long word a few times. It is a medical term for people who have a neurological impairment. They can’t recognizes faces–sometimes not even their own. It’s commonly termed face blindness.
Can you imagine navigating life without this ability most of us take for granted? People with this condition report that they rely on other avenues to recognize people such as hairstyle, gait, and voice.
