George’s Alledged Mistress Krystal Holloway: My Thoughts

George Anthony’s alleged mistress, Krystal Holloway, aka “River Cruz”, is quite an interesting person to analyze.  She was in the news in March 2010 when it was reported that she had an affair with George Anthony.  She and her twin sister, Cecelia, spoke out to the media.  You can watch Krystal here.  This video is full of hotspots by both Krystal and her sister, Cecelia, but Krystal didn’t talk about the affair with George. When I originally saw this, I did not believe the sisters story that they were unmotivated by money.

Krystal’s sister, Cecelia, says there is no money motive, and Krystal confirmed it, however, shortly after this, Nancy Grace broke the story that the sisters did do a story with the National Enquirer. Nancy held up the tabloid on her show. Clearly, the article in the Enquirer outed the sisters and it didn’t bode well that Krystal or her sister, are honest women.

Furthermore, I uncovered the transcript of when Krystal Holloway, aka River Cruz, talked to the Orange County Sheriff’s office about what she knew about George Anthony. Krystal talks about her relationship with George and what George supposedly told her about Caylee’s death. 

The investigator says on page 10 asks Krystal, “Did you and George ever become romantically involved?”  Krystal says, “No, we didn’t.”  The investigator confirms this again to which Krystal reiterates the word, “No” a second time.

Krystal’s speech is loaded with a lot of false starts–sentence starts and stops that ultimately go another direction, and she doesn’t give solid statements. She doesn’t answer direct question asked of her and she rambles on about unrelated things–all hallmarks of a less than honest person.

When asked how it all started with George, she says, “… I don’t…I don’t even know how it started.”

She is not a credible person, if you ask me.  The defense would be insane to put her on the stand.  It would be a move of incredible desperation because if I were a prosecutor, I’d shred her to bits.

The investigator asked, “What can you tell me about it [the relationship between Krystal and George]?”

Krystal says, “Well, we would sit and talk for hours, you know, and I would feel bad, and he would tell me about, um, the baby. You know, and how he would sing and talk, you know, and things he would do.”

Krystal talked about how she would visit George’s house and how George thought his house was bugged, but when questioned about it directly, Krystal waffles.

The investigator says, “Did he [George] say the house was bugged, or why did you believe the house was bugged?”

Krystal says, “He didn’t outright say the house was bugged, but I kind of know from his conversation, you know like…”  Krystal stops talking at this point.

Krystal is very evasive in many of her answers. She hits me as someone who takes shreds of the truth and spins it to what she wants to the story to be.  I also wonder if she met the Anthonys on purpose–so she could “sell a story”.

When you look at what Krystal tells the investigators George supposedly said about what happened to Caylee, and that it was an accident–it’s fascinating.

The investigator asks Krystal, “Did he tell you what he thought happened to the child?” (page 16).

Krystal says, “Yeah.”

“What did he say?” asks the investigator.

Krystal says, “He said it was an accident…that went wrong, and it just snowballed. And he said you know how you tell a small lie?  And he just tried to cover it up and it just got really big and was just…it went out of control.”

If you notice, Krystal has no memory of a conversation, like, “George said to me that Casey had an accident, and she lied about it, and I’ve had to cover it up.”   She lacks honest memory recall–actual words spoken– as well as details about what was said specifically, like, “We were talking about Casey, when he said it was an accident and Casey’s lies have spiraled out of control.”  Both of which are big red flags.

The investigator says, “Did he explain it to you?  Did he give you more than that?”  Krystal says no.  Her answer is very suspect–much of what Krystal says is suspect.

But then I believe Krystal admits to the truth when she says, “He…he just said that ‘I really believe it was an accident.'”  That my dear friends is the truth!! 

Why would George want to believe anything else at that point?

If you notice, Krystal has memory recall of actual words said and gives details here, which were missing before.  However, Krystal wants us to believe it was more than that–possibly for fame and fortune.  If you notice, she then finishes that statement with, “And it just went wrong and she tried to cover it up.”

The investigator says, “Did he say to you that Casey had told him it was an accident, or was this something you believed?”

Krystal proves my point when she responds. She says, “He didn’t say that.” [Page 17] Yet she rambles on again trying to convince the investigator.

The woman is clearly not trustworthy!  She shows many hallmarks of a liar and I suspect an opportunist, and Krystal even tells us herself that she is a liar.  On page 19, she says, “I mean, I’ve lied. I’ve done my fair share of things in life that I am not proud of.”

Is this another Krystal?

If Krystal takes the stand, she will be fun to dissect without a doubt, but in my opinion she will be an absolute train wreck.

BTW, Krystal has an arrest record for theft and burglary as well.
