Facial Expression of the Day/Testimonial

Is that a happy genuine smile or a social smile?

There are marker that identify each. Do you know what they are?

If you don’t, I highly recommend my course, “How to Spot A Liar:  Master Class”   In the course, I teach you how to understand human behavior first and foremost, and then I teach you when behavior is abnormal and indicates deception. Participants from my class tell me they feel like they learned a whole new language after learning my techniques!

Here is a video testimonial of the class from Brent Frethey!  Thanks, Brent!

I’m confused a little here, more by your wording in the post, and your reply, than the picture. You said “marker that identify each”. Isn’t a social smile determined by a lack of markers for a genuine smile? A marker for each makes it seem that there are separate active markers that aren’t just a lack of marker for one. Then in your reply you said that you think they photo-shopped out the clues. I see the clues for a genuine smile, so combined with the mentioned marker statement, I’m confused. So, since I see genuine smile clues, I interpreted this as you indeed were saying that there is an active marker for a social smile and they photoshopped it out; especially since you said “but” I think they photo-shopped out the clues after saying it looks like a genuine smile. Are you saying it is a genuine smile or it “looks” like a genuine smile?

Does this twisty paragraph make any sense? Eventually, I think Brent helped me sort it out. He said the eye wrinkles are barely there, so maybe you are referring to that.

I see upturned lip corners and eye wrinkles in the corners. I originally thought (and still think) genuine smile. What was photoshopped? (If it is something else, don’t tell me yet though).

There are markers, or maybe as you have said more clearly, a lack of markers as well.

I think the entire photo was photoshopped but specifically the eye region.

I say it “looks like” a genuine smile.
