What do you see when you look at this expression? If a person did this after you asked them a question, would you think they are lying because they are covering their mouth?

My guess is slight fear with a little disgust.
I think putting a hand or two up to one’s face is not strictly deception related as it could be a reflex action that goes with the surprise expression.
