48 Hours: Robbie Walters

If you missed this weekend’s 48 Hours, you missed a fascinating study of one human being:  Robbie Walters.  He was a vacant-eyed, cold, haunting individual who was convicted of killing his girlfriend.  Robbie talks about what happened the night they “supposedly” had a car accident and what you see when you watch Robbie talk is chilling!

Robbie’s emotions are flat out inconsistent with what he wants us to believe. He smirks and smiles at times it completely contradicts his message, and he seems obviously to it.

It shows the power of facial expressions in stark contrast to the spoken word!

Robyn Davis Interrogation

If you didn’t get to watch 48 Hours this weekend, you missed a fascinating real life whodunnit story.  Robyn Davis’ husband, Brian Davis, is found murdered in a remote area and it doesn’t take police long to zero in on Robyn and her best friend Cissy.

The only evidence police have against Robyn is her cell phone records. They say they bounced near a town near where the murder occurred.

When you watch Robyn Davis, what do you think?  I am traveling this week, but when I can, I will post my thoughts about Robyn.

48 Hours: Bruce and Monica Beresford-Redman

This was originally published in May 2012 when this episode first aired.

In this interview, Bruce gives us a lot of inconsistencies when he speaks. I was amazed at how much he revealed in just the intro segment alone.

When Bruce says, “I did not kill my wife. I really didn’t” we actual see a flicker of positive emotion which instantly raises my eyebrows. Not

48 Hours: Secrets of a Marriage

I finally was able to do some catching up last night.  I was able to watch last week’s TV shows.  I watched 48 Hours Secrets of a Marriage.  It was an interesting story of a husband and a wife, and sadly, murder.

I believe the jury got this case correct when they put Wesley Earnest behind bars. While there were several indicators for me, the one that I found the most fascinating was what Earnest said when he was asked the following question in the 48 Hours interview:

“Are you prepared if the verdict comes back guilty? Have you thought about that?” Smith asked Earnest.

“I have,” he replied.

“What do you do?”

“Stare at the walls in a 6×8 cell.”

Really?

If he’s wrongly convicted, he’ll just stare at the walls?

Wow.

If you were innocent and handed down a guilty verdict, would you just sit and stare at the walls?

It’s fascinating how a guilty mind works versus an innocent one.  They don’t run the same channels no matter how hard they try to make them!

Chris Coleman on 48 Hours

If you saw 48 Hours this past weekend, it was a fascinating story about a couple, Chris and Sheri Coleman,  who were married twelve years, and supposedly became a target of hate mail.   They started receiving threatening letters targeting Chris because he worked for Joyce Meyer, a well known religious televangelist.  The letters hit Chris up to stop “preaching the bull”.

Move forward six months later, and the family is still receiving hate mail.  Chris goes to the gym one morning and tries to call his wife. He couldn’t reach her, so he calls a neighbor who happens to be an investigator at the local police department, Detective Justin Barlow.

Detective Barlow sadly finds the entire Coleman family murdered in a house.

This case was littered with clues about who did this, and the police correctly picked up on it and prosecuted Chris Coleman who is now behind bars and rightfully so.

At the end of the 48 Hours show, I found it fascinating what Chris said.  Chris is asked if he knows who murdered his family.

Chris responds, “I have absolutely no clue, believe me. I’ve racked my brain to try…for two and a half years to try and figure that part out (laughter). I just had to stop and give it to God–just release that and do my best to forgive that person and move on.”

Oh. My. God.

That is the most absolutely ridiculous thing I have ever heard:  bar none.

If there is one statement that puts the nail in the coffin for Chris, this has to be it!!!

No innocent man who is sitting in jail for killing his wife and kids is going to give it to God and move on.  Hell no!!! They are going to want to get justice for what was done to themselves and their loved ones!!  They aren’t going to forgive a person who wrongly put them in jail!!!

It’s amazing to me how the mind thinks it can fool people.  If this guy had any clue how a real victim would feel, he would have NEVER said this.

Unbelievable.

If anyone had their doubts about Chris, this should close the book for sure.
