Michele Williams on 48 Hours

Did you catch 48 Hours this weekend and the story of Michele and Greg Williams?

If so, it was a fascinating story.

You get to see Michele Williams display a lot of fake emotions and crocodile tears without question!

I do not believe one word out Michele’s mouth. I feel for her children. To grow up with a mom who was dishonest as she was must be horribly hard. My heart goes out to them.

Let’s hope a jury doesn’t fall for Michele’s attempts to fool them.

Dangerous Beauty: Peggy Sue Thomas

48 Hours featured the story Russel Douglas, 32, who was murdered in Washington state in December of 2003 in an episode called “Dangerous Beauty”. Through many twists and turns, you get introduced to Peggy Sue Thomas, a friend of Brenna Douglas, the wife of murder victim, Russel Douglas.

Peggy Sue Thomas, who became a beauty pageant winner, was married multiple times, and admitted to dating a married man as well, Jim Huden–a man she grew up with in Washington.

Jim Huden, ironically, was identified by a man in Florida who said Jim confessed to murdering Russel to him.

The story takes many twists and turns, but ultimately, I do not believe Peggy Sue Thomas on any level. I suspect she knows a lot more than she is telling us.

Oscar Pistorius’ Apology: Did he hire an acting coach?

Have you heard that a well known South African journalist has come out and said that Oscar Pistorius hired an acting coach?

I haven’t seen the South African journalist talk of the alleged allegations to see if I believe her (she would have to talk in English for me to do an analysis), but I can tell you that to me Oscar Pistorius’ apology falls flat on its face.  Furthermore, his crying sounds like acting to me, so if he had a coach, they failed him.

Oscar said in his apology, “I would like to take this opportunity to apologize — to Mr. and Mrs. Steenkamp, to Reeva’s family — to those who are here today who knew her.”

He continued, “I’d like to apologise and say that there’s not a moment and there hasn’t been a moment since this tragedy happened that I haven’t thought about your family. I wake up every morning and you’re the first people I think of, the first people I pray for. I can’t imagine the pain and the sorrow and the emptiness that I’ve caused you and your family.”

“I was simply trying to protect Reeva. I can promise that when she went to bed that night she felt loved. I’ve tried to put my words on paper many, many times to write to you but no words will ever suffice” said Oscar.

I have to ask you what is Oscar apologizing for?  If you notice he doesn’t say.  He doesn’t claim what he has done on any level by owning that he accidentally took Reeva’s life nor does he talk of any regret!  Oh no.  In his apology he says he was SIMPLY just trying to protect Reeva.

Unbelievable!

I am also taken by his word choice when he says, “I can’t imagine the pain and sorrow and the emptiness.”

This stopped me dead in my tracks.

If you killed someone that you supposedly loved, would you not understand the pain, sorrow and emptiness left by her void?

Hello? Does that give you a clue to the callous mind of Oscar Pistorius?

Chilling, isn’t it?

If you cared and loved her as he claimed–you most certainly would UNDERSTAND!

Can you see how he misses the mark with his words?

His cry on an emotional level is void, too. He isn’t shedding any tears that are noteworthy if you ask me because if he did, he would have congested his sinuses, but he clearly didn’t.

Oscar Pistorius is a cold-blooded killer if you ask me.  A remorseless man who is only feeling horrible at the thought of losing his freedom!

48 Hours: Rodney Denk

Did you catch the story of Amy Weidner this past weekend on 48 Hours titled “Decades of Deceit“?

During the episode, I saw an interview of Rodney Denk, the man convicted of killing Amy Weidner. 48 Hours also uploaded a web extra of Denk (above).

When I saw Denk on the show he suggested there were accomplices.  It caught my eye because detectives said Denk changing his story that he did have them, then he didn’t or couldn’t remember.

My question is why would you, after you confess, indicate another person was involved, if they weren’t?  What gain would there be for Denk to do that?  I can’t think of any reason, which leads me to believe it is possibly true.

Furthermore, by the fact he couldn’t remember the name of the guy, could he be afraid to implicate someone else out of fear?  It’s possible, but from the short interview shown on 48 Hours, I cannot say conclusively.

So I set out to see the web extra on 48 Hours website of Denk.

When I watch that clip, one thing is for sure. Denk isn’t willing to tell us the truth other than to admit that he was there.  He also doesn’t show us any sadness, regret or any negative emotions considering he carried around the knowledge of what he did for years. This concerns me and gets me thinking about psychopathy and pathological lying.

Considering we can’t rule out psychopathy or that he is a pathological liar, its hard to say if there was or was not another person involved without having access to more interviews of Denk. He could be simply pathological, which means he will say whatever hits his fancy at the moment.

My Thoughts on Oscar Pistorius

My thoughts on Oscar Pistorius haven’t changed any since we first heard that Reeva Steenkamp was killed in February 2013.    It was shortly after Reeva’s death that Oscar released a statement to the media and it was full of hot spots for me.  You can read my analysis back from that time here.

Now with Oscar on trial, while I haven’t had time to watch much, I can tell you from what little glimpses I have heard of him speaking on the stand, he hasn’t done one thing to change my mind any. I don’t believe Oscar’s version of events at all.
