Psychology Professor Accused of Murder

Norma Patricia Esparza has been accused of murdering her alleged rapist two decades ago.  She claims that her ex-boyfriend made her do it. Her words?  She was “dragged, pressured, bullied, [and] intimidated” into doing it.

She never reported the rape nor did she go to police after the murder. She actually claims in her words “I didn’t know that he had been dead.”

She then says she was forced to marry the man who bullied her into the beating, which resulted in murder.

Esparza was living in Geneva, Switzerland, and came back to the U.S. for a conference last year and that is where police arrested her. Oops.  Perhaps she got a little too confident?

When I watch Esparza talk, I hear reminiscent behaviors of Jodi Arias–the soft meek mouse voice trying to portray how harmless she is. That always a huge tip off something is amiss!   But when you listen to her words, she couldn’t back pedal any more obviously into a hole.

I do not believe Esparza was a victim in the murder at all.  This will be an interesting case to watch go to trial.

David Camm: 3rd Trial Sets Him Free

David Camm supposedly found his wife and kids shot to death inside their family garage back in September of 2000. You can hear his 911 call above. David Camm faced three trials, in which two of the verdicts were overthrown, and Camm was given new trials. The last trial ended in October of this year, and this time David Camm was vindicated and sent free.

Many of you have searched for my blog and wondered why I never wrote about David Camm. When I agree with the verdict or don’t have enough evidence in a case, I typically don’t write about it. I only write on cases when I disagree or am requested to do so by popular vote!

And with the new court decision finding David Camm innocent, I have to disagree.

I do not believe David Camm and the amount of red flags that he sends off is quite disturbing to me.

In the 911 call alone, he whines rather than expresses true and sincere emotion. He never does cry, act sad or surprised. He gives us a high-pitched voice, too, which people often use when they fake distress.

It’s also interesting how David Camm had no interest for an ambulance to come (ignores the Post Commander in the 911 call repeatedly), but said he wanted help from family across the street.

David Camm had blood on his shirt–droplets–which he claims he got from moving or coming in contact with his daughter after she was deceased. Blood typically does not transfer in “droplets” by contact–certainly not 8 droplets. There would be smears.

As for Charles Boney, I believe he and Camm know the truth, and that each of them were involved.

I could write a lot about David Camm and why I don’t trust him…if only I had more time!

Check back later this week for my thoughts on Dateline this week on Lottie and Waseem.  Who is the ultimate manipulator?

McStay Family Found Dead: Brother Speaks Out

The disappearance and murder of the McStay family in southern California in 2010 is a perplexing case.  What happened to them? How did the family end up murdered–only to be discovered nearly four years later in two shallow graves?

No one to date has the answers.

A reader has sent me a video of the murdered father’s brother, Michael McStay, speaking out at a press conference shortly after the bodies of his brother and family were found and identified this month.

The first thing you will notice is Michael is acting all stressed out and shedding tears, but we see no scientific evidence on his face to support he is feeling either of these.

I am immediately pinged that his eyebrows and forehead are nearly frozen.  I can’t help but question if this man has had Botox.  But at 1:43, I see he can show stress in the forehead and it only appears once!

He also appears to be speaking hesitantly, with pauses, which typically accompany someone who is crying hard and flooding their sinuses, but his sinuses are clearly not flooded.  This is a red flag.

Michael also laughs in this interview at the end, and tries to stop himself at which point he buries his face in his arm. It’s very odd and notable behavior.

After watching this video of Michael, I would want to investigate him further without question.  He is on my radar.

Curious about this case, I went and read some more details and I found a really odd statement by Michael, according to People magazine.  They reportedly quote Michael from the Orange County Register saying in 2010 a few weeks after his brother and family disappeared, “My fear is that I’m looking for two adult shallow graves and … my two nephews’ crosses.”

If Michael said that, and it can be verified, um, he has some serious explaining to do!! He knows something without question and isn’t telling us all he knows to be true.

The Sheena Morris and Joe Genoese Story on ABC 20/20

ABC’s 20/20 on Friday night detailed the story of Sheena Morris, 22, and Joe Genoese, 48. Sadly, on January 1, 2009, Sheena Morris ended up dead in a hotel room after having spent an evening with Joe Genoese.

The responding police officer on the scene determined that Sheena Morris died of a suicide, yet Sheena’s mom, Kelly Osborn, didn’t believe it. She knew her daughter better than anyone and she knew Sheena wasn’t sad and despondent in the days leading up to her death. Instead, she was happy and making plans.

ABC’s 20/20 showed both Joe Genoese and Kelly Osborn during the episode, and each talked about the case.

I absolutely believe Kelly is honest, and it is Joe who is not being forthright in my opinion. I do not trust Joe Genoese at all. I wrote about Joe Genoese here when he was on the Dr. Phil show last October–stating I didn’t believe him then and I still don’t.

Joe Genoese is evasive, doesn’t answer questions, and accuses others of lying–classic liar behavior!  On the contrary, Kelly gives every indication of honesty, and her investigative work is clearly showing that there is more to this story than a “suicide” and it doesn’t take eyes for lies to see that.

Martin MacNeill on Trial

Visit NBCNews.com for breaking news, world news, and news about the economy

Martin McNeill is currently on trial for the murder of his wife, Michele, even though the official ruling for the cause of her death has never been determined.

However, if you listen to Martin McNeill’s 911 call, I think you can clearly see what the answer of the cause of death should be. I jumps out at me like a scream in the night.  Let’s hope the jury gets it right!

Check back tomorrow to see my analysis.

Do you see the clues?
