Halloween Surprise for YOU

This is a fun and fascinating video–and not because of the reasons you may suspect!

Many people believe that when people cover their mouth, they are lying or hiding something.  And while that can be true, I will tell you it is not reliable enough of clue that I would use it in an interrogation or interview.  Ever.

Why?

Because people who are AFRAID, and shocked do it to.

Watch the people in this video react.

You KNOW these people have NOTHING TO HIDE, are NOT lying, but they cover their mouths out of fear!

When you interview and honest person about a crime or accuse them of something they did not do, do you think they feel fear?

They absolutely can and often do.

Fear and discomfort cause us to cover our mouths, too.

So think twice before applying the theory that all people who cover their mouth are lying or trying to hide information. It’s simply not true nor accurate as as a reliable clue to deception.  If you use it, you will be wrong as much as you are right, which is equal to a coin toss!

If you buy extra virgin olive oil, and haven’t heard, you could be getting much less than you realize. Not all EVOOs are the same!

The National Consumers League tested 11 EVOOs and found 6 were not “extra virgin”.

Check out this article by TIME magazine to get the scoup on what you should be buying if you want authentic and accurately labeled high quality olive oil!

Ravens Can Spot A Cheater

Raven

Ravens are phenomenally smart birds. If you haven’t kept up with the latest research on their intelligence, it is stunning. They actually remember where a fellow bird has been shot (in a farmer’s field) and will avoid it for a full two years afterwards. I saw this on a PBS special.

Now there is more research that once duped by another raven, a raven will remember who the offender is and will not cooperate with him/her again.

And ravens who successfully cheated out another bird seemed to show no remorse. If offered the opportunity to do it again, they do!

So next time you look at a raven, and think it is just a bird. Remember, its a thinking bird!

A Stunningly Honest Confession

It is stunningly rare to see a confession of this type and magnitude, and I really commend Marty Stroud for his strength and courage to admit his wrong. And on the other side of the coin, we see incredible indifference that is hard to palate from Dale Cox. To say that Ford got “delayed justice” is simply perverse, if you ask me.

Glenn Ford truly paid a dear price in his life and should have received some compensation for the wrongs done to him.
