I bet you can’t resist the urge…

I bet you can’t resist the urge…to laugh after watching this!

We are hired wired. When we feel an emotion, we express it.  When we express it, we conversely feel it.

So I can be pretty sure everyone who watches this video will break out laughing or at least have a big smile on their face (if they are truly paying attention). It is highly likely you will feel genuinely happy.

Happy Smiles!

Can you see the dog, Lola, question, “Why are you laughing at me? What did I do?” She seems oblivious her fur is standing up. Too funny!

How Chewing Gum Affects Your Perception

It’s probably contrary to what you think, but I also think it depends on how you “chew it” too!

What I think we see here is that “stiff people” are perceived as cold. Movement causes us to relate more to people and it makes them more approachable.

However, I also suspect if you have a bunch of people chewing with disregard (i.e. smacking lips, making noises, opening their mouth wide), it would turn back the other direction and people would see them as unreliable and quirky and likely side with the person who is not moving.

More on chewing gum: Did you know it increases your cognitive ability and aids in concentration? And it may be better than caffeine in durations shorter than 20 minutes?  Who knew?

So what is the verdict: Will you now chew gum?

Two Girls Found In Hot Car: One Dies

Watching this video, I am concerned. I see quite a few hot spots that need to be investigated.

We cannot rule out this man has PTSD and could be under the affects of narcotics as reported in news reports.

Travels

I haven’t been sharing my travels lately for a variety of reasons, but this past week I got some stunning photos so I thought I would share them with you. I did two classes in New York for the US Court system…one of which was in Manhattan and one in Brooklyn (New York City). Here is a snapshot into what I saw.

One of my classes was held on the 30th floor:  I must say the view was outstanding!

When searching for the truth…

When searching for the truth, a lot of people turn to books as sources of information. Like in the Amanda Knox case or the Madeleine McCann case. People grab books for opinions written by either the person in question or others who have some interest or involvement.

When I am looking for the truth, there is absolutely no book that will provide me with any answers because people themselves often have biases when writing information.

The only element that I will ever rely on to get to the truth are the people in question themselves.

No. One. Else.

Ever.

Because the truth can get skewed, edited, manufactured and changed — even if only subconsciously when others are defending a position.

So when you want to know the truth only trust the information you get from the actual source in question.
