This video is fascinating because it shows how long we can keep our mind focused on our physical behavior–mere seconds to minutes–before our automatic behaviors kickback in again as we use our mental power to communicate verbally.
We all know how serious it is to touch our face right now with the coronavirus spreading. It’s one of the most important things we can do to keep us, and everyone, safe.
But doing so is VERY DIFFICULT as you can see.
It is precisely this inability to control and be aware of our own physical behavior continuously while thinking and talking that is a golden nugget for people like me to read others so well.
You cannot control your auto-pilot physical behavior for very long. It takes a concerted effort to do so, and when you are so concentrated on what you are doing with your physical body, it makes it a lot harder to manipulate your cognitive story! So whichever way you focus, you will drop clues to the truth– either cognitively or behaviorally!
That works for me!
My ability depends on this human weakness!
Have you mastered not touching your face? It’s a great time to practice. Put people around you on notice in your life and ask them to tell you every time you touch your face! You will be amazed at much you do it. And when you do try to not do it, see how productive you become!
Let’s start a viral tag here — Don’t touch your face–No #fluface. If someone touches their face, say it, “Flu Face”. Maybe we can get people more cognitively aware and stop the spread of disease!
Here is praying you stay safe and don’t get the coronavirus.

If you watched the shows this weekend from Dateline to 48 Hours to 60 Minutes, you got quite a preview of personalities–many that should have made your hair stand on edge!
Dateline NBC aired The House on the Hill, which told an older story of Karl Karlsen, who was either the unluckiest man in the world, or one of the most dangerous.
Karlsen’s wife died in a fire, his son was killed when his car fell on him shortly after having been with him, and Karlsen’s barn burned down killing his prize horses.
What did all of them have in common besides Karl? Insurance money.
Karl is a great study for human behavior, who just by his looks sets me off to run. The man wreaks of callousness and the first word that comes to mind seeing his face is “menacing”. Can you see it? He’s a bully who means what he says if you truly listen.
In the beginning of the episode, watch as Andrea Canning asks the first question to Karl. Watch how he speaks all over the board about his wife making absolutely no sense. Karl made my hair stand on end immediately.
Karlsen Case vs. Vallow Case
The Karlsen case has a strong resemblance to the active case of Lori Vallow right now. Like Karlsen, Vallow, too, has a string of deaths surrounding her.
Vallow’s 4th husband ended up dead, then so did her brother who confronted her ex-husband. Vallow then married her fifth husband, and oops, his ex-wife died strangely, too!
And worse, Vallow’s two children haven’t been seen since September as she vacationed in Hawaii. Thankfully, Vallow has recently been detained on charges, though not the charges that we expect to see. That is yet to come! Hopefully it will come soon.
Karlsen and Vallow, I suspect, both suffer from what is called Antisocial personality disorder. While I am not an expert in that area, they both display many traits of people who are unable to feel normal emotions for other people. It’s not that they don’t feel emotions, but they do–but they don’t relate to normal feelings of empathy, like you and I do. People are like objects to be used to them. Chilling, isn’t it?
These people are great studies, if you have interest!
Eddie Gallagher
It didn’t end there. 60 Minutes had an interview with the Navy Seal, Eddie Gallagher. I find that man absolutely vile! The entire case disturbs me from end to end.
Do I believe Gallagher?
I do NOT believe a word he says. And what happened in court? I don’t believe the man who changed his story in his second version. No way, no how. The truth in this case is heavily protected and buried, sadly. But most people can easily see the truth when looking at Gallagher’s behavior and texts! Don’t doubt it. It’s very real. Don’t let him convince you otherwise.
Gallagher, Vallow and Karlsen should all be put in the same place together!
Leah Freeman and Nick McGuffin
And last, there was the story of Leah Freeman and Nick McGuffin on 48 Hours, the epsidoe was Last Seen Walking. Nick McGuffin was found guilty of killing his girlfriend, only to have his case get thrown out though there is still belief in his guilt by many.
McGuffin got an angel the day when attorney Janis Puracal came along! She is an amazing woman whose ability I just adored. She see the details!
Do I question Nick McGuffin in this case? I do not. I believe Nick McGuffin is innocent and uninvolved. If the police ever find the person whose DNA they have–they will find the killer.

If you follow Instagram, or YouTube, you likely see a lot of perfect looking people talking about products, tips, techniques and what to buy. And these people, to be successful, have to look the Hollywood part, or people don’t want to watch.
Have you ever started to compare yourself to these online personalities thinking you don’t match up?
It’s kind of hard to watch all of these people look so good and then when you go look in the mirror of reality, oh cringe!!
Right?
Don’t cringe so fast–there is a ton of video-magic going on behind the scenes.
They’ve turned their home cams into a Hollywood magical fantasies. Take a look!
Do you think this is just part of the trade? Or is this a form of deception?

How many times have you heard if you eat red meat it’s bad for you? Or that you should skip the egg yolks–they are high in cholesterol and fat, which is heart-clogging. But is it really bad for you?
If you are middle-aged, you’ve likely heard these mantras more than you care to repeat.
The question is: Do you believe them?
I found out in the past year that I have issues with my heart that were quite startling (boo!) and with that, I’ve started to read more and more about health and nutrition–especially when it comes to our cardiac system.
In the process, I ran into Dr. Pearson’s blog, The Skeptical Cardiologist. As an expert in deception, when I saw the word “skeptical”, I have to admit I was intrigued!
I’ve been following him for probably six months now reading his posts.
What I like about Dr. Pearson’s blog is that he provides fact backed up by research and science. And he isn’t afraid to speak out when he sees misinformation put further in the public domain.
Article Two: Half A Million Chinese Can’t Be Wrong
This observational study published in Heart found that egg consumption in a huge Chinese population was associated with less stroke, and major cardiac events (MCE).
Neither is bad for you! Go have a lean sirloin steak–you don’t have to feel guilty!
What is bad for you is animal fat.
And what I found most interesting were his articles on full fat dairy versus low fat in terms of heart health. We’ve all been sold on low fat dairy being superior, right?
And he goes on to explain the financial gain in this myth for you.
His blog is truly worth checking out and following! I highly recommend reading it–it could have huge impact on your future health!
Cheers! Renee

Eleven-year-old Gannon Stauch disappeared nine days ago now from Colorado Springs, and hasn’t been seen since.
His stepmother, Letecia “Tecia” Stauch, said that she last saw her son at 3:15 when he left to go play with his friend down the street.
However, a neighbor’s video surveillance camera pointing at the Stauch’s driveway shows a woman believed to be Letecia leaving with the boy, but when she returns he is not seen on the camera footage.
This video seems to put Letecia’s story at odds.
The only video I have seen of Letecia is the one above, and in it, she is being inconsistent. Do you hear the inconsistencies?
Letecia’s inconsistencies aren’t enough for me to say she harmed the boy, but they are enough I would want her to sit smack dab in front of me to answer some tough questions! I have many of them as I am sure the police do too.
This sadly doesn’t look good for sweet Gannon.
