Amanda Knox Appeal Underway

Amanda Knox’s appeal for freedom started in an Italian court last week. Knox and her boyfriend, Raffaele Sollecito, were convicted in the murder of Meredith Kercher, an English student studying abroad in Italty.  Knox and Kercher were roommates.  Knox’s sentence was 26 years and Sollecito’s sentence was 25.  Both hope their appeals will bring freedom.

I’ve always felt Amanda knew more than she was telling, but that is all I know.  I don’t know that she was directly involved in the death of Meredith Kercher. She has spoken very little to the public on this case.

Amanda’s appeal is set to get underway on December 11.   Interestingly, if you notice Raffaele and Amanda seem to be sporting the same hair style.  Is this just coincidence?  Or is there more to this?  I find it rather freakish, whether it is coincidence or not!  If I was Amanda, I would have been mortified.

True Justice.org has an interesting photo of Amanda Knox in court during the murder trial where it appears she is flirting with Raffaele Sollecito. It’s eerie. Check it out here

Thanks, Sally, for the photo link.

Signs that Knox is Psychopath?

Here is an interesting article from an Eyes for Lies reader, where a psychoanalyst looks closely at Knox. Thanks, M.W!

The Meredith Kercher Trial Draws To A Close

Here are my (edited) thoughts from a comment section:

With regard to a sociopaths/psychos being innocent, but assumed guilty because of their aloof behavior, I actually think it is remote, though of course, plausible. Why do I think that? It’s two fold. The average sociopath is usually very intelligent. They are master manipulators. They can usually convinced most people they are telling the truth when they are, in fact, lying. They are much wiser than most, so the likelihood they would get “dumb” all of the sudden in a hot bed situation and fail to convince people, especially when they are innocent, seems unlikely to me. It seem very remote. People like this usually thrive on confrontation, challenge and difficult situations. They aren’t ones to buckle under pressure unless they believe the world discovered they aren’t as smart as they thought they were.

Second, sociopaths do feel emotions — their own emotions. There is no doubt about that. Get a sociopath mad and watch the fury. Once you’ve seen it, you will never forget it. With that, accuse a sociopath of something they didn’t do and you will likely see anger– very notable anger, unless they are guilty. You are likely to see revenge, too. But when they are guilty, and they are lying, they play the sweet innocent “master manipulator’s game” of “I’m a nice guy”. Think of Drew Peterson. Think of Scott Peterson, think of Ted Bundy. It’s so against their manipulative character, it is the biggest red flag there is.

With that, why haven’t we seen any anger in Amanda at all? Its absolutely missing and it makes no sense for someone who is innocent. She keeps playing the poor innocent victim, but we know Amanda’s character from all we’ve seen was anything but sweet and innocent.

On another note… does anyone have the short stories that were once posted on Amanda Knox’s MySpace blog when she was arrested? The one where she wrote about rape? I’d like to see those again.

While I don’t know that Amanda is guilty of outright murder, I personally believe she had some knowledge or involvement on some level with this crime. Her behaviors were too out there and inconsistent to support complete innocence. Her story of covering her ears still haunts me to this day. People don’t create such incredible stories out of thin air that aren’t logical unless they are twisting reality. You don’t cover your ears when you hear a blood-curdling scream unless you know what is going on, but don’t want to stop it, or can’t stop it (to which she would have confessed). Also, the fact that she pointed a finger at Patrick Lumumba, an African, when in fact it was another African’s DNA that was all over the crime scene, is highly unusual for her do, unless she knew more as well.

What a sad day for everyone involved.

Amanda Knox Testifies

Here is footage of Amanda Knox testifying from an Italian website. I have watched more than half the of the testimony and without hearing the questions asked of Knox, it is impossible to identify if she is lying.

Meredith Kercher Murder Trial

Read moreI did find Amanda’s demeanor amazingly calm, and I was rather shocked at how lighthearted she appeared. She doesn’t seem to experience stress on a level one would expect when facing life in prison. One could argue this both ways: Amanda Knox is not stressed because she knows she is innocent, or one could argue she is psychopathic, and has a grandiose sense of self and believes she can beat this, regardless of what the truth is.

If there are videos available that translate the questions, feel free to post links below. Translations make things tricky to, so I can’t make any promises, but I will give all video consideration.

I was surprised to know that Amanda Knox knew Rudy Guede. I didn’t know that. To read all of my thoughts on the Amanda Knox case, click on the labels below. Please note posts will appear in reverse order with the first post appearing at the bottom.
