Kristi Abrahams Admits to Killing Daughter Kiesha

When Kiesha’s parents came out in the media in August of 2010 to report their little girl had vanished, I pointed out that their behavior was off and was not supportive of the story they were giving us.  I didn’t trust them from day one, and now almost three years later, Kiesha’s mom has admitted to killing her daughter.

Thank you to the many followers who have sent me recent updates on this case!

Remember Kiesha Abrahams?

Kiesha Abrahams was the little six-year old Australian girl who supposedly disappeared in the middle of the night in 2010.  When her mother plead for her return that summer, I couldn’t help but see the holes in her behavior. You can read my original thoughts on this case here.

The case is finally going to trial against Kiesha’s stepdad Robert Smith. An Australian reader sent me a link to an article that updates the story (thank you!).  Apparently, Kiesha’s mom hit her so hard, she knocked her daughter out, and then both parents left the injured child alone until she died.

The story is heart-breaking but for those who are interested, here is more information. I warn you it is disturbing.

Many people commented at the time that little Kiesha did not look happy in her photos, and you can clearly see a “fake smile” in the photo of her above.

So tragic.

Next time you see a child who fake smiles like this consistently, see if you can get them to open up. You might be able to save a child’s life.

Kiesha Abrahams: Police Put Together Events

Kiesha Weippeart’s mom, Kristi Abrahams, plead for her missing daughter on August 3, 2010.  She wore sunglasses when she made the plea and her cry was riddle with clues it was fake.  I immediately saw red flags and did not trust Kristi Abrahams.  You can read my original post here.

As the story continued to develop in time, there were a lot of things that didn’t make sense in this case, and most people saw something was up.  People speculated over the sad face of little Kiesha. Was it letting out a secret that she was sad at home?  Evidently, the answer is yes.   Police are expected to include in their statement against Kiesha’s parents that their treatment of their daughter was harsh, and included brutual treatment (source).

Sadly, Kiesha’s little bones were found in April of this year and now police in Australia, where this occurred, are working to put the pieces of this puzzle together.

They got a tip in April of this year that on Kiesha’s birthday, her parents were going to her grave and that is precisely what they did.  They hired a taxi and lead investigators, unknowingly, to Kiesha’s body.

Police suspect that Kristi Abrahams and her partner, Robert Smith, caused harm to the little girl, and believe she died as a result of head injuries.  They then believe once she died, somewhere between July 12-14 of last year, they hired a taxi and took her lifeless body in a suitcase to a bushland grave. A taxi driver remembers the two carrying a suitcase to the bushland.

Kiesha was then reported missing on August 1, 2010.  Both Kristi Abraham and her partner Robert Smith are facing murder charges.

Kiesha Abrahams Parents Arrested

A reader just informed me that Kiesha Abraham’s mom Kristi and her step-father Robert Smith have been arrested in connection with the disappearance of their daughter, Kiesha, in the past couple of hours.

Read more about it on ABC Australia.

You can read my original thoughts on Kristi Abraham and Robert Smith back in August of 2010 here when they first made a plea in the media for their daughter’s return.

Kiesha Abrahams’ Mom Speaks Out

Kristi Abraham, whose 6-year old daughter went missing in July in Sydney, Australia, shows her anger when she talks about people who are using her missing daughter’s name for a flea market every Saturday. They have raised over $300 Australian dollars by charging people who sell things a few dollars to participate. The people who raised the money say they plan on having a jumping castle in honor of Kiesha at Christmas. Kristi is clearly not happy.

You would think Kristi would be happy people are keeping her daughter’s name in the public’s eye, wouldn’t you?
