Mr. and Mrs. Cummings to Take Honeymoon

Ronald and Misty Cummings are taking a honeymoon in NYC, and plan to appear on the Today Show tomorrow, according to FirstCoastNews.

Imagine if you were a teenage daughter, instead of Haleigh’s age, how you would feel if your dad married while you disappeared (abducted and held captive), and then took a honeymoon to NYC. Would you feel that you mattered? That your dad cared about you?

If the Today Show interview is good and offers some unique insights, I will write up my thoughts over the weekend or by early next week and share it with you.

Cummings and Croslin to Tie Knot Today

The Orlando Sentinel is reporting today that Cummings and Croslin aren’t going to waste any time getting married. They are supposed to tie the knot today at 4 p.m.

In the meantime, a 100-person investigative search team is combing the highways, looking for clues to Haleigh’s disappearance.

Just thinking about this ceremony, I get upset. To think that Haleigh’s body is likely laying out there in some horrific place, and her father has no problem going on with his life and having a big celebration today, it just violates me to the core. The lack of caring and compassion showed by Cummings is just devastating. It’s just really, really sad to think about, and to think he is a father makes it a thousand times worse. Haleigh deserved so much more than this.

Cummings Pops The Question to Croslin

I guess it is official that Ronald Cummings and Misty Croslin are engaged. I can’t believe this. It happened last night at a Chili’s restaurant.

Is Cummings on the fast track to do all the things he always wanted to do?? It sure makes you wonder. Is he trying to keep Croslin happy so she will stay devoted and loyal to him?

More than that, notice how Croslin says, “This is what Haleigh wanted. She’s always talked about it”. Notice she talks in past tense? It’s intriguing, yet very, very sad that these two people can focus on themselves so much at this time. I still feel strongly that these two people know more about Haleigh then they are telling us.

Misty Croslin Expresses Disgust

This is a video of Misty, taken shortly after Haleigh disappeared, that has continually played in my head since I saw it over a week ago. I noticed what I suspect is a microexpression of disgust when Misty says, “I seen the kitchen light on.”

Misty is truly distraught, but I can’t figure out why she has feelings of disgust when she talks about the kitchen light being on. This emotion flashes for a fraction of a second. If Misty found the front door open, and the kitchen light on, as she tells us, I would expect to see fear or concern on her face, but instead, I see disgust.

She seems to be feeling an emotion, that upon first glance, is inconsistent with the story she is telling us. It makes me wonder what we don’t know. Is Misty leaving out some details? Are the events she is describing from another night, and not the night Haleigh went missing?

I don’t know the answers. I just know I have more questions. I want to know what disgusted Misty. It’s perplexing.

Many of you have questioned if Misty is truly crying here. I believe the answer is yes. Her tears and emotions of sadness are genuine.
