CNN has an interesting article today on Kyron Horman case. Little Kyron, 8, went missing on June 4, 2010, from his school and hasn’t been seen since.
Multnomah County Sheriff Dan Staton said “We have knowledge of things we wish we didn’t.” He goes on to say that there will be things that come out in this investigation that he think will surprise us. I can’t imagine another surprise in this case. We’ve been surprised a lot already in this case from Terri and Kaine Horman splitting up to her being fingered as putting out a hit on Kaine’s life, to Terri being banned from seeing her little daughter to the Horman’s filing for divorce. The list goes on and on.
The sheriff says they have spent over $1 million dollars on the effort to find Kyron so far, and the case isn’t “cold”.
To read what I had to say about Terri Horman at her first press conference (thought she didn’t speak) back in June, click here. Terri’s body language was very revealing!
DeDe Spicher, a new person of interest in the disappearance of Kyron Horman appeared before a grand jury today, though the information is not being made available to the media. You have to wonder if they are looking at indicting Terri Horman…

Don’t forget to set up your recorders. If there was every an interesting case that dealt with body language, this is surely it.
Huffington Post has written about the show that will air tonight. You can read it here. They talked to the reporter who covered the story.

It’s amazing how much our body language communicates, isn’t it? Terri’s behavior and body language tells us a lot, and has from the very first press conference we saw her, even though she has never spoken a word publicly.
I am amazed at how strong Terri is acting in the face of all the adversity. She doesn’t show any emotions whatsoever when questioned by the reporter who probes her for information. She tries to hide behind the woman she is with, but that is about it.
For her to be so emotionless after her daughter has been taken away, she has been accused of a murder-for-hire plot, and she has people still squarely looking at her in the disappearance of Kyron Horman, she has to have nerves and a resolve of steel not to leak any emotions or to lash back at the media. You have to wonder at this point, if she even feels emotions at all to be so flat lined. I am blown away by her behavior here.
When we see her walk away to the elevator in the parking garage, she holds her head high as she walks, did you notice? I almost get the feeling she thinks she can beat this, yet when I look for any signs of arrogance, I don’t see any, which is baffling. Could she just think she is smart enough to get herself out of all of this?
Both Kaine Horman and Desiree Young, Kyron’s biological parents, are publicly stating now that Terri Horman has failed two polygraphs. Terri is fascinating to watch, even when she doesn’t say a word.
