Chelsea Clinton Weds: True Love?

Chelsea Clinton wed Marc Mezvinsky this past Saturday in a stately affair on a property that overlooked the Hudson River in New York.

I peered at that photos to see the emotions of the newly wedded couple, and what I see is interesting. Chelsea is absolutely happy and smitten with Marc in the photos released to the media. There is no doubt about that! Marc, however, appears to be a bit reserved. His happiness doesn’t match the happiness and bliss we see in Chelsea, at least in these photos. Was Marc just overwhelmed with the ceremony? Is that what is holding back his emotions?

Is this wedded bliss, or does one of these two have a little reservation? They have my interest piqued! I’ll be interested to see more of these two in the coming months.

in Chelsea. She is giddy in this photo.

A Genuine Smile

Here is a nice genuine smile by HSBC Group Chairman Stephen Green in Hong Kong today. He has a friendly face. I bet he smiles a lot. Do you see the warmth exuded from the eyes?

HSBC Group Chairman Stephen Green attends a news conference to announce the lender's 2010 interim results in Hong Kong August 2, 2010. HSBC's half-year profit more than doubled from a year ago as bad debts fell sharply, and Europe's biggest bank said it remained bullish on the outlook for emerging markets. Expression of the Day

Dr. Edward L. Warner III, waiting to testify at a Senate Armed
Services Committee hearing yesterday on the new START
(Strategic Arms Reduction) Treaty.

Here is a man who is serious and intent in getting his message across, do you think? Either that, or he has a dislike for cameras pointed at him. This expression is similar to the expression made by Melky Cabrera on Wednesday (though it has less tension and isn’t quite as threatening). We see glaring in the eyes, and a pursed lips. You know the old saying, “If looks could kill…”

If you see someone make this expression to you in public, they are giving you a strong message to back off, and I would heed their facial warning, without question. This is not a friendly face.

Expression of the Day

Eric Vaillant, Douai Attorney General, speaks during a news conference in Douai, northern France, July 29, 2010. French police have detained a husband and wife after discovering the corpses of eight new-born children in the village of Villers-au-Tertre in northern France, police and judicial officials said. The couple in their 40s have been held in custody since the bodies were found at two different sites in the village and a criminal investigation was underway, police said. What do you think Vaillant is expressing here? I will share my thoughts below in the coming days.

Dr. Maureen O’Sullivan’s Speech: Part Three

Dr. O’Sullivan talks about how wizards can’t get objectivity in their personal lives.

For me, there are times when I am unable to be objective because I am emotional and I have to work to overcome it, but my ability is by no means flat-lined in my personal life. I find I can get objectivity, if I continually look in the mirror and stay honest with myself, and I work to remove any emotional bias I may feel, if I am seeking the truth. Sometimes that is hard for me to do when it involves matters of the heart. I have to work extra hard at it, but it is something I am very conscious of. If someone is not conscious of these two elements, I could see how it could affect their personal life.

I think the wizards are no different than other people in this respect. Anyone who struggles to look in the mirror and who can’t delineate their emotions will face difficulties in their inner circle because they can’t see the truth. What do you think?
