DP Funnels Quarter of a Million to Son

The latest news from Fox is that Drew Peterson transferred $250,000 to his son in the weeks after Stacy’s disappearance.

It’s another piece of the puzzle–a piece that I don’t think bodes well for Peterson, but I can’t think of one thing Peterson has done in the weeks since his wife disappeared that is positive, or that does bode well for him. Can you?

McCann News

Other news is that a BBC Crimewatch producer, who befriended the McCanns while on holiday at the Mark Warner resort in Praia da Luz, has come forward to say that she believes the McCanns are innocent.

Read moreBridget O’Donnell says that her partner ran into a “relaxed and friendly” Gerry on the night of May 3rd. If O’Donnell is a credible witness, it has to throw some doubt into the theory that the McCann’s accidentally killed their daughter.

People who cover-up an accidental death of a loved one have a highly likelihood of being jittery and nervous–most specifically within hours of the death–unless they are psychopathic. In my own personal opinion, I do not see the typical traits of a psychopath in either of the McCanns, though I confess, I am not expert.

I don’t find any video of O’Donnell talking, unfortunately, to give a further breakdown of her comments.

Sam Parker Case

Per multiple requests, I will write about the Sam and Theresa Parker next week should all go well with my schedule. Several people volunteered to do some transcribing for me. If you are interested to transcribe this video, please let me know.

Peterson’s Website Shut Down

News is out today that Drew Peterson’s website, DefendDrew.com, is shut down. That’s not surprising.

What surprised me, however, was a poll I found yesterday in the Chicago Sun Times asking people if they would support Drew. Three percent of people polled said they would support him!

The Chicago Tribune is also reporting that they spoke to Stacy’s younger sister, Cassandra Cales, yesterday. Cales recounted a story that Stacy told her where Drew asked Stacy to go into the garage, and into the refrigerator to retrieve a soda. When she did, she told her sister she heard a loud bang, that a gun was fire, and a bullet came through the walls, and hit the floor near where she was standing. Others news outlets have reported that Stacy showed the bullet holes to Cales.

Drew’s account of the story today? Stacy fired the gun but was probably too embarrassed to admit it. Drew says Stacy was fascinated by guns.

Unbelievable.

Do you want this blog to cover breaking news on stories I’ve written about previously? I’d like your opinion.

Pay My Legal Fund; Then I’ll Search for Stacy

Have you seen the news today?

Clearly, the priorities of this fund are off the mark. Pam Bosco says it best, “”His best defense is to find Stacy. Let’s put that as a priority, Drew.”

Joran Van der Sloot Released Again

News just came out that Joran Van der Sloot has been ordered released from jail, again.

This case seems to be going in circles, endlessly.

“Prosecutors have said they will announce by the end of the year whether they will try the suspects in the case.” (CNN)

I guess we just have to wait and see.

The Ultimate Betrayal?

There is an interesting story coming out of the U.K. this morning.

Reports by the Associated Press are saying that in March 2002, a man, John Darwin, went out canoeing and never returned. His canoe washed up on shore wrecked. Sometime thereafter, he was declared dead—I suspect due to lack of a body—presumed to be drowned at sea. He left behind a wife, Anne, and two sons.

But in a strange twist today, news has broken that John Darwin is alive. He claims that he has amnesia, but the story gets even more bizarre: his wife has been found in photos with him taken last year at a holiday resort in Panama. That kind of kills his amnesia claim, if you ask me.

Read moreThe Darwins’ two sons, Anthony and Mark, however, are in shock. They believed their dad was dead this whole time, and they have released a media statement in the aftermath of all of this. Having found out that their mom was in contact with their dad, and that she had knowledge that he was, in fact, alive must be the ultimate betrayal by a parent. In the end, both parents ultimately betrayed their sons.

I can’t imagine the shock Anthony and Mark are feeling at this time, and how their whole paradigm has changed.

Anne Darwin has some serious explaining to do, as does her husband, John. I’ll be interested to hear how this all unravels. It doesn’t look good for the Darwin sons, that’s for sure.

* Nothing in the son’s statement set off a red flag but, of course, that doesn’t mean anything conclusive.
